Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SAUTERA LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“SAUTERA™,” “we,” “us”), the operator and data controller for this website, handles information collected through this marketing site at sautera.com. It is written to be aligned with the OECS data-protection posture and with GDPR-style principles of data minimisation, purpose limitation, and transparency. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Service, which this policy forms part of.
This site is a static, edge-served marketing surface. It is operated separately from — and shares no database or authenticated systems with — the SAUTERA product portal at portal.sautera.com. The portal has its own privacy terms presented at sign-up.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the demo / contact form, we collect the details you provide — your name, work email, company, fleet size, area of interest, and any message.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites served via a CDN, standard request metadata (such as IP address and browser type) may be processed by our edge provider to deliver and secure the site. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers on this website.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demonstration.
- To understand interest in SAUTERA and improve our materials.
- To protect the website against abuse and ensure its availability.
We process demo-request details on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated. We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how this marketing site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors arrive from, and how they move through the site — so we can improve our materials. To do this, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and processes standard measurement data such as page paths, approximate location derived from IP, and device or browser type. We use IP-anonymisation and do not run cross-site advertising trackers, ad-retargeting pixels, or data-broker tags on this site.
You can opt out at any time: decline or clear cookies in your browser, enable a “do not track” / global privacy control signal, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google acts as our processor for this analytics data; see our subprocessors for the full list.
Where your form submission goes
The demo / contact form submits to a dedicated intake handler that operates outside the product’s authorization boundary. We use it solely to route your enquiry to our team. We retain enquiry details only as long as needed to follow up and to keep a record of the conversation, then delete or anonymise them.
Subprocessors & sharing
We share information only with the service providers (subprocessors) that help us operate this site and respond to enquiries — our hosting/CDN, analytics, and form-intake providers — each under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms, and only where required by law. We maintain a current list at sautera.com/legal/subprocessors, kept in step with this policy.
International data transfers
This site is edge-served globally and some of our subprocessors are located in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses and their own compliance certifications — to protect it in line with GDPR-style and OECS principles.
Data retention
We keep demo / contact enquiry details only for as long as needed to follow up and to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation — typically no more than 24 months from your last contact with us — after which we delete or anonymise them, unless a longer period is required by law. Aggregate analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule and holds no direct identifiers.
Data processing agreement
For business customers and partners with a contractual relationship, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request. Email legal@sautera.com and we will provide our current DPA and subprocessor disclosures. Processing of product data in the SAUTERA portal is governed by the agreement presented at sign-up, not by this policy.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have given us, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email legal@sautera.com.
Data security
We apply the same posture we sell: least privilege, encryption in transit, and blast-radius containment. Because this marketing site holds no accounts and no customer telemetry, the data it touches is limited by design. For how we secure the product and our own infrastructure, see our Trust & Security page.
Changes
We may update this policy as the company and its products evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new version number and “last updated” date on this page.
